Studio Swartland is currently seeking a business partnership in order to grow and sustain the business into a fully comprehensive creative service. Interested parties are welcome to get in touch.

Swartland literally means Black Land in Afrikaans and derives from when Dutch Settlers first visited this area in the seventeen hundreds. They where stunned by the characteristic blackish appearance of the abundant vegetation found around this part of the Western Cape, South Africa. Today, this very special and unique vegetation type is called Renosterveld and critically endangered (https://www.sanbi.org/cape/renosterveld-remnants-of-the-swartland)
